Position: Fulfillment Lead
Reports to: Fulfillment Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Department: Fulfillment
Location/Shift: Monroe, Ohio / 1st Shift
Position Summary:
The Fulfillment Lead is responsible for managing and assisting the Fulfillment Team in the day-to-day process of fulfilling orders at Lahlouh. This position is responsible for pulling and shipping orders as well as the inventorying and storing of material.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage and assist material handling generalists and specialists in the order pulling and shipping processes
- Manage the electronic and physical storage of material within the warehouse
- Data entry into the WMS and shipping (UPS, FedEx, etc.)
- Implementation and management of the work flow process
- Maintain warehouse and fulfillment area in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
- Communicating daily work assignments to fulfillment/material handling team members
- Assist with writing, implementing, and refining process improvements
- Responsible for accurate inventory management
- Maintain facility in a safe manner in accordance with company and governmental standards
- Train fulfillment material handlers
- Promotes awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization
Experience:
- High level of WMS experience
- Experience with pulling orders and shipping (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Experience managing a team of associates
- Good oral and written communication skills
- PC skills including Excel, Word, Email
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a strong knowledge of inbound and outbound warehouse processes with at least five years of experience in a similar environment
- Qualified to operate a forklift and other powered warehouse equipment with the ability to train associates
Physical Demands:
- The employee is frequently required to sit, walk, talk, or hear
- Use of hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls
- Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 45 pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves items up to 100 pounds
- Ability to handle heights
- Able to pull/push more than 1500 pounds with a pallet jack
